About Injectafer:

INJECTAFER is an Anti-Anemia drug manufactured by American Regent and administered via the Intravenous route of administration. The J Code: J1439 is aligned to the drug INJECTAFER.

Injectafer is an intravenous form of iron replacement. Injectafer can be used to treat iron deficiency anemia, also known as IDA, for patients who have not responded well to oral forms of iron supplements. It can also be used to treat IDA in patients with non-dialysis dependent chronic kidney disease. With IV iron treatments such as injectafer, 100% of the iron they contain is delivered into the bloodstream, which may help patients who have had unsatisfactory responses to other iron replacement treatments.
