About Sylvant:

SYLVANT is an Anti-HIV drug manufactured by Janssen and administered via the Intravenous route of administration. The J Code: J2860 is aligned to the drug SYLVANT.

Sylvant is a drug that is indicated for the treatment of Multicentric Castleman's Disease, or MCD, a rare disease that causes the body to produce too much of one type of white blood cell. Sylvant is thought to work by inhibiting the growth of a protein in the body called interleukin-6 or IL-6. IL-6 can cause an overgrowth of cells in the lymph system when present in high levels. Sylvant is not approved for patients with HIV or human herpesvirus-8.
